Galiher DeRobertis & Waxman is proud to announce that Managing Partner Ilana Waxman has been recognized among the nation’s top plaintiffs civil trial lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers organization.
Waxman was singled out by the invitation-only organization based on her work on behalf of individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma from asbestos exposure, as well as victims of childhood sexual assault. Her practice also focuses on representation of families of children born with birth defects due to exposure to toxic chemicals and individuals suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma from exposure to Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide.
We can help.
Waxman was born and raised on Maui and has been instrumental in coordinating relief efforts following the August 2023 wildfires that destroyed the town of Lahaina. In addition to working with the Hawai’i legal community to raise money and provide immediate legal assistance, she and the Galiher DeRobertis & Waxman legal team are actively involved in litigation to hold responsible parties accountable.
She is a frequent speaker at national asbestos conferences and seminars. In addition, she is a past president of the Hawaii Association for Justice and serves on the national Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) as well as the Hawai’i State Bar Foundation Board of Directors.
The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 is designed to recognize attorneys with exemplary trial results and qualifications, as well as reputations for leadership and dedication to the highest professional standards. For more information, visit http://thenationaltriallawyers.org.
